1. Protect clothing with a plastic dressing gown.
2. Separate hair and wind strands on curlers using your chosen technique.
3. Apply the mixture evenly to each strand.
4. Leave on for 15–20 minutes, checking the curl every 5 minutes.
5. Rinse with warm water (without removing the curlers) for 8–10 minutes.
6. Soak the curlers with a towel.
